To encourage the wonderful tradition of reading and writing Books, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry has taken an initiative and organized the first edition of The Literary Meet “কাগজে কলমে – Celebrating Literature ˜ – Celebrating Literature’’ on 12th May 2023 (Friday) at Arts Acre from 2.30 pm onwards.

The meet was inaugurated by Mr. Subir Chakraborty, President, The Bengal Chamber and Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Exide Industries Limited; Mr. Satyam Roychowdhury, Chairperson, Education Committee of The Bengal Chamber and Chancellor, Sister Nivedita University, Founder & Managing Director, Techno India Group and Shri Suvaprasanna, Eminent Painter. Before commencing the programme a minutes’ silence was observed paying tribute to Shri Samaresh Majumder, one of the brightest stars of Bengali Literature whom we have lost recently.

The Literary meet was graced by few notable authors, Shri Shirshendu Mukhopadhay; Shri Devdutt Pattanaik; Shri Srijato; Shri Pracheta Gupta and Dr. Moumita.
