The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized “Interactive Workshop on ESG −Corporate Case Studies and Implementation” on 11th March 2023 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Dr. Kiran Bedi, Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry graced the Opening Session and addressed us on Case study on “Water Rich Puducherry”.

Mr. Gautam Ray, President Designate and Chairperson, Energy Environment and Water Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Executive Director (HR & Admin.)− CESC Limited & President (HR) − Power Group, RPSG formally welcomed the participants and speakers. Mr. U K Bhattacharya, Co−Chairperson, Energy, Environment and Water Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Director− Projects, NTPC Limited shared PSU Perspective of ESG.

Mr. B L Chandak, Executive Director, Investor Relations, RPSG Group moderated the session on Corporate Case Studies. Mr. Sumant Sood, Head Innovation, Titan Company Limited and Ms. Chhavi Agarwal, Head Investor Relations, Exide Industries Limited presented their case studies.

Mr. Sambitosh Mohapatra, Leader − ESG Platform/Energy Utilities and Resources, PwC | Partner shared his observations and moderated the Panel Discussion on “Integrating ESG in Decision Making”. Mr. Sushant Chaturvedi, Head − Public Outreach, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications, PTC India Limited and Mr. Souvik Bhattacharjya, Senior Fellow & Associate Director, Resource Efficiency & Governance Division, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) were the other panelists.

The participants had enthusiastic engagements with the speakers and among themselves on various areas of ESG.
