MSMEs often find it hard to expand their business and opportunities due to limited connections, limited resources, lack of affordable working capital and tools to improve operation for want of information which is reliable, affordable and easily available at the time of need. In this background, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised “Financial Awareness Conclave: MSME Finance−The Facilitators” on Friday 26th May, 2023 at Bengal Chamber premises.

The Conclave on one hand enhanced the financial awareness of MSME, entrepreneurs, startups and on the other hand introduced all to the nuances of managing finance. The Conclave brought together Banks, Fintechs, Insurance companies and Capital Market to handhold the MSME. The Conclave also focused on the procedures in which these various services and also the various MSME schemes of the Central and State governments could be availed to solve capital problem.

The Opening Session was addressed by Mr. Suresh Kozhikote, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, SBICAP Ventures Limited, Mr. G. Ram Mohan Rao, CGM & Regional Director, SEBI and Mr. Prakash Sankaran, MD & CEO, Invoicemart.
