The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry had organized a Workshop on Managing GST Compliances on 9th December 2022 at Williamson Magor Hall, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Grant Thornton.

Opening remarks was given by Mr. Vivek Jalan, Chairperson, Fiscal Affairs & Taxation Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Partner, Tax Connect Advisory Services LLP.

Mr. Krishan Arora, Partner and Indirect Tax Expertise Leader, Grant Thornton Bharat deliberated the Keynote Address on GST Compliances.

Technical Sessions were on ‘Managing GST Compliances and key considerations’ and ‘E-invoicing, E-way Bill and GST Return and reconciliation’ and were addressed by Mr. Sohrab Bararia, Executive Director – Tax, Grant Thornton Bharat and Mr. Amish Agarwal, Associate Director – Tax, Grant Thornton Bharat.

The deliberations after each session were followed by an interactive session with the participants. The Workshop was attended by more than 100 delegates.
