The Heritage Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) organized the Third edition of Annual Heritage Quiz 2023 on the occasion of World Heritage Week on Tuesday, 25th April 2023 on Virtual Platform in association with INTACH.

The objective of this initiative is to understand and gain knowledge about the Heritage of not only our Country but World Heritage as well that nurtures one’s mind and also promotes interest and desire among students to learn and appreciate the history, tourism, and also sharing the vast cultural heritage of our country and World. In this edition, the target participants were high school students from Classes 8 to 12, and to teach the value of heritage to high school students.

Around 1000 participants from around 100 schools from pan India and Middle East took part in the initiative, out of which 80 semi−finalist teams and finally 6 teams had been selected for the grand Finale by our Quiz Master Mr. Arindam Bhattacharya, Founder and Partner, Cradle Solutions Pvt. Ltd, one of the leading Quiz Masters of the Indian Sub−Continent.

The winners of the competition were Shivraj Sharma & Anmol Maheshwari from Neerja Modi School, Jaipur, Rajasthan; first runners− up were Shashwat Mishra & Aditya Jaiswal from Sunbeam School Lahartara, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh; second runners−up were Arag Jain & Parv Jain from Delhi Public School, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The online quiz contest helped the students to learn about the Legacy as well as Heritage of India and World, to get exposed towards many new things which are unique in nature for gaining knowledge and provide real time benefit to the future generation.

Along with The Bengal Chamber, the third edition of the Annual Heritage Quiz was organized in association with INTACH; supported by Caring Minds; RT Network Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; Calcutta Tea Traders Association, Omdayal Group along with Ruby Park Public School and Vidyamandir Classes; Gift sponsors−Hermes Voyages Pvt. Ltd. and Easy Note Stationery Pvt. Ltd.; and Knowledge Partner − Cradle Solutions who helped in designing the quiz. The entire initiative was hugely appreciated by all who participated.
