Aharer Sekal Ekal, 13th March 2023, Chapter 2, Southern Avenue, Kolkata
The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (JIS Group) and Chowman Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. for the first time ever, organized an initiative named “Aharer Sekal Ekal”, on 13th of March 2023 from 4:30 p.m. at Chapter 2, Southern Avenue, Kolkata.
Through this initiative, the Chamber wanted to celebrate the gastronomical heritage of Bengal through month−long heritage food recognition. The Heritage food Celebration will be continued from 14th March to 12th April 2023 with several of engaging activities.
A wide range of heritage cuisines and Food joints from respective cuisines were recognized, namely:

The recognition held in the presence of a special guest Mr. Debojyoti Mishra, an Indian Music Director and Film Composer, along with Chairperson, Heritage Committee, Mr. G M Kapur, Mr. Debaditya Chaudhury, Chairman, Organising Committee of Aharer Sekal Ekal, & Managing Director − Chowman Hospitality Limited, Oudh 1590 and Chapter −2, and senior representatives from JIS Group.
The programme was also supported by Das Roto Print. The evening had around 45 participants from 20 food joints and the entire initiative was very well covered by leading Media houses and Food Bloggers.
