Minerals, Mining and Metals Conclave (Minerals, Mining and Metals sectors in a Cooperative Federalism Structure: “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash, Sabka Vishwas”), 20th January 2023, Swosti Premium, Bhubaneswar


Considering the intertwining nature of the Metals and the Mining sectors and a need for a holistic approach for addressing issues common to both, we have combined our Metals Conclave and the Minerals and Mining Conclave and we are glad to have organized the “Minerals, Mining and Metals Conclave” in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha on 20th January 2023.

Odisha is one of the most−gifted parts of the world. The recent 'Make in Odisha' Conclave has witnessed the business interests of industries across the globe.

In this context, we have aptly chosen our theme of the Conclave as − Minerals, Mining and Metals sectors in a Cooperative Federalism Structure: “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash, Sabka Vishwas” to showcase the success story of Cooperative Federalism in these sectors focusing on Odisha. This exercise was an introspection of how the combined efforts of the Centre and the State can generate and unlock values for the entire ecosystem and the economy.

The Conclave witnessed the presence of many eminent speakers whose presence was much relevant for the programme. We feel honoured to have received the presence and participation of :

We are glad to have received an overwhelming response from Bhubaneshwar and other parts of Odisha, considering the fact that this was Bengal Chamber’s first initiative in Odisha. However, we have also received participants from Jamshedpur, Vizag, Mumbai and Bangalore apart from Kolkata who travelled to Bhubaneshwar to attend the programme.

The participants varied from various small and big mining companies, steel products & steel alloys producing companies, Engineering Industry, Mining Equipment & Machinery producing companies, Companies from the Ferro Alloys sector, Mineral Trading Companies, Institutes with Department of Geology, Metallurgy and Mechanical engineering, Geo−Spatial companies, Consultants and also Engineers contributed in making an august gathering.
