The Tourism Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCC&I), curated a session on, "Decoding Detox Tourism", on 23rd March 2023 from 11 am onwards at Vedic Village. This unique initiative focused on promoting niche tourism.

Wellness Tourism is a rising trend all over the world, as an offshoot, Detox Tourism as a niche idea is also coming across as an interesting proposition to busy people who want to refresh their minds and body and come back with more productivity. The most refreshing aspect of detox tourism is that it allows you to regain control of your life. Detox tourism celebrates a temporary disconnection from the fast−pacing world where the mind does not stop and the head does not rest. BCC&I intended to promote the avenues of niche tourism amongst its industry stakeholders as well as the participants who can immerse themselves in a thorough detoxification mode and discuss ways and means which overall enable them to increase their productivity.

The initiative was supported by Vedic Village Spa and Resort as Vedic Village is nestled in the lap of nature and with its huge natural landscape is an accurate place to conduct Detoxification. Mystic Yoga Studio was the execution partner and conducted a full day session on physical and mental detoxification through Yoga Session and Meditation. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Abhishek Maheshwari and Mr. Sudhir Maheshwari the founders of the Mystic Yoga Studio. The session also witnessed Ayurvedic Diet Session conducted by Dr. B K Bal, from Vedic Village. The session also witnessed the presence of Smt. Sharmila Singh, Owner at Flora's cosmetic, who conducted session on Cosmetology. The session was also supported by B D Memorial School as the Academic Partner. The session was attended by 33 participants.
